What would happen if you sat in an empty unsold seat, would anyone notice?
I've seen stalls circle standing people go and sit in empty seats and then get told to return to their place by an usher

Well I thoroughly enjoyed that, I thought hearing Francesca was going to be a lasting problem after the first few exchanges but then it was all quite clear. Would happily watch it all again.
I also loved the pre show entertainment of spotting RB dancers in the audience ☺️

It is already possible to pre-order the Cinderella DVD or BluRay in e-shops, for example Amazon or Europadisc, with delivery in late November or early December.
I can’t see it on Amazon Uk -
On offer is SCS D10, for £9
Please message if interested

Does it matter? Vadim has leapt onto the stage before (including during this DQ run) and I loved the 'competition' from Marianela. Why on earth should she not pre-plan that? Her last Kitri this season (possibly, and perish the thought, her last ever at the ROH) and, in any event, a great way to 'go out'.
And, by the way, @dancersdiary is often snapping shows until the very end.
I think the comment was nothing more than a response to my frustration about not getting THE moment of the curtain call

Just received a survey from a research partner of London Coliseum about attendance which includes
’Would you be more likely or less likely to attend if the following was offered DURING the performance’
-Freedom to talk or make noise during the performance
-At seat ordering of drinks/confectionery
- Different seating options eg standing, reclining, cabaret tables, dancing - the list goes on
- The ability to take photographs during a performance
- The ability to take confectionery/drinks into a performance
-The ability to use my phone/social media during a performance
- Freedom to leave and reenter the performance
Let’s just say I am very much aligned with the views on this specific thread. If they want to make one performance in a run with this 'anything goes list' then fine ...mark it as such on the booking page with a note: 'Please note this performance is a Sh*t Show'.
As you can probably imagine I would love to be able to take photos during a performance but that would be from a designated spot at the back of the auditorium, with an electronic shutter, not mechanical, no flash and with an eyepiece, not a screen....there's no way a free for all anywhere in the auditorium could work

given it was captured by Dancers Diary i'd say that it was pre-planned not improvised. impressive nonetheless
Yes that's what I thought when I saw the picture last night

Do you spend your time permanently logged on to the ROH website watching the seat plan?
I do, but only at work 😆- 5

This maybe so, but it's still difficult to understand the logic of £150 stalls seats 'given away' for £12, when amphi seats have gone from £23ish to £52 (as the view is still restricted at the higher price)
I guess if the ROH’s priority is the appearance of a full house rather than the revenue at that short notice their £150 to £12 strategy is more effective than that of Paddington’s Sainsbury’s on my way home from a performance the other night- 15

Stuttgart Ballet has meet and signs in the foyer at interval. Costumed, made-up, the works. Certainly Mercutio, Lord Capulet, Tybalt...
I wonder if the ROH can do something similar for next season....'Meet some harlots in Floral Street at the interval'

Reading that article, it doesn't sound great. Should I be assuming I won't be seeing McRae in The Nutcracker in 2 months' time?
Not unless he's cast as Grandpa!
