    They can do homestay and live in a shared house in the week with a house parent.The teachers are lovely my DD is really keen x

    Oh no Auntie Nora.Hope she will be ok.They are such courageous kids going for their dreams.No way I could have even gone to an audition.You obviously opened the letter.I promised my DD I would not!!! (Might have to try steaming and re sealing!). Perhaps for you DD it means there is a better offer just around the corner xxx

    We were in the previous group at 9am.The children that go there are extremely lucky.So nice to see the final part of the audition as well.Kind of dreading getting the letter!

    My dd also auditioned on Tuesday.What a lovely school with such a happy feel.The Year 7 students that spoke when we were having the parents talk were a credit to the school.

    Oh yes you are right it does say that! How confusing! I guess like you say if they someone/something they like they would let you know!

    I am assuming if you auditioned in January & got a No I can't imagine much would change or would you still have a chance on the Spring course??

    On their website it says ''Both courses offer participants an opportunity during the week to audition for The Royal Ballet School's full-time training.'' if that's any help to anyone! My DD is not a JA but would like to audition for WL in January & has applied. I just wondered on the Spring course is it a formal audition like they do in January or do they just observe you throughout the week??

    My dd year 6 also 10 has a place!!! After many knock backs and disappointments she has always soldiered on!!! Feel so pleased for her she will be over the moon!!! Never give up on a dream!!!

    She loves dancing no matter what!! We have YDA tomorrow so that will cheer her up! Hope she is more lucky at next audition as its the Elmhurst pre-lims!!!

    Poor you MAK! don't know how you cope having 2 girls doing all this! I find it stressful with just one!! My DD was sad (she cried which is not like her at all!!) but seems fine today & pleased for her friends. Hope your DD2 is ok & Congratulations to DD1

    Did anyone else go to one of Elmhurst's Open Days?? I thought it was really lovely. Looked a very happy place to be. I would be interested to hear others thoughts
