That’s the one. The number isn’t working, my calls are instantly disconnected. I can see that the skirt I ordered is now sold out, so it looks like they are taking orders? Is this a scam website? Really odd. Unfortunately this will be the first and last time I order from them. I will try to get a refund from Amex.

Begonia + matching skirt gone

A part of the seam at the top is missing (to the right of the pinch front), please see second photo. Not noticeable and not unraveling any further in the wash. There are two seams at the top and only one of them is missing, about 2 cm. Otherwise in great condition, very lightly worn due to a growth spurt. £25 including postage

Hello, I was wondering whether anyone has bought from dancepointeshop ? I placed an order in late November, which was confirmed. Since then I haven’t heard anything, despite the order confirmation saying that I would receive updates re processing and dispatch. Ive tried emailing but I receive an error message to say that their inbox is full. I’ve also messaged on Instagram but their account doesn’t seem active. does anyone have any connection to them, or any advice on how to get hold of them? Thank you in advance

I think the website said four weeks after registrations close, so that would be first or second week of December? Does that sound right?

Ballerinamum did you speak with LCB? I seem to remember it was within a week or so in previous years so it’s clearly taking just a little longer this year?

I believe once you’re in finals you have about a one in three or a one in four chance depending on age group? and agree re parking. Don’t park at Halfords next door, we got a ticket last year where the cameras only recorded my first and last entry on the day - despite us only stopping for a couple of minutes each of the three times I came and went. It was the first audition which included the recall so according to them I had been parked for four hours or so. I appealed, they insisted, so I had to pay in the end or it would have been the small claims court next

What a good question. I would assume they need the company to look good together so perhaps it would depend on the auditioning cohort? Or if they already have the costumes from the previous Snow White performance x years ago, then there is probably a height requirement related to that? Hope your dd got a callback.

Just remembered this thread and thought I’d add that we ended up taking this year’s audition photos ourselves at home, as we are watching our ballet budget. We were short on time and did not do a perfect job… there was furniture in the background in two of the photos but we couldn’t change it. Dd ended up getting a yes from the summer intensives we applied to including WL. Anecdotal evidence that there is probably no need to stress too much about audition photos for associates (we took those photos ourselves too back in the day) and intensives. Hope this can help anyone who worries about not being able to arrange professional audition photos for their dancers. Upper school audition photos are probably a different matter…
