Dancing unicorn

I really don’t know whether to mention this here but here goes!

Went to watch National Dance Company Wales company class a while ago. Now they are NOT a ballet company, BUT their warm up class was ballet based and you could tell all of them had had ballet training!
Also, my dd did an Inspiro course - twice! And she stuck out like a sore thumb for her classical technique! Yes all the others could do all the tricks, and tilts etc but!!!!!!!!

So my advice would be whether your thinking ballet, contemporary, cruise ship or whatever I still say ballet is the foundation for everything! Call me old fashioned but he ho!!!!! 💗

I think what they mean is, it’s not about who takes the photo or where, it’s about the body shape, proportions etc! 😜

I totally agree with above! Get your teacher to do them in the dance studio! She knows what they’re looking for too and probs cheaper! I don’t even charge my students for photos or time I’m more than happy to do them!

Save your money for when they really need a studio photographer to do them properly for job auditions as these generally need to be done every six months so that starts to get expensive! 🤣

ok so train to Warrington central from Manchester.

No 3 bus takes you along road to KS studio (I can give you directions to studio nearer the time!)

No 3 also goes all way up to premier inn but, there is a travel lodge in town that’s near station and bus station! 💗

I’ll ask my dd what no bus it is for you and let you know 💗

Nearest and easiest hotel to KS is Premier Inn just off the M6. A short bus ride down road to studio.

KS Dance in Warrington do DDE Istd Ballet and Modern. Excellent College, highly recommend

I’m pretty sure, but when dd started voc school the yr8’s helped! The house parent said they were up at 6.00 to do their hair 🤣 that soon changed the more practice they had so tell her not to worry about it 💗

I’m so sad that dancing times is closing, if it wasn’t for this publication we would probably never have even thought about going down the dance route!!! 
We saw an advert for ‘JA for a day’ and have never looked back! From that day dd was JA for 3 years and has just completed 9 yrs of vocational training! And now starts a PPP in sept! I love seeing all the adverts for schools and colleges, and reading about the dancers!

Will be greatly miss it coming in the post! The highlight of my month 🤣🤣🤣🤣
