  1. So glad your dd is loving KS! It’s not praised enough sadly. My dd thrived there having come from 2 other voc schools where her confidence was sadly stripped away.
Dd went for a class there recently before returning to her other course and she was welcomed with open arms, she misses KS so much. 💗

  2. Hiya

DD went to KS, most of the accommodation is within walking distance! Only in last year (yr4 - stayed in cos of covid) was it further away and she had to get a bus. Other 3 years she walked everyday! Loved every minute of KS, in fact still misses it now. Very caring fabulous staff. Would highly recommend 💗

  3. I’m not sure about RAD but in other associations, if you’ve taken a higher grade as an exam, you can’t then take a lower grade as an exam! If that makes sence 🤣 if she were with me, I’d have worked/taken exams upto/and  including grade 5 before taking IF! But worked parallel with IF!
So I would now say she’s Intermediate! But, I don’t know if they do this in RAD, or if they can still take grades after taking IF 💗

If in doubt, ask her teacher 💗

  4. KS Dance Warrington

    Trinity Level 6 Diploma

    No A levels

    Excellent ballet

Take from 16 - or 18 if you want to do A levels before going!

A lot are non vocational that get in - although my dd was!
Any more info please message me 💗

  5. Hiya guys

tried to call just ballet this morning - number unobtainable! So googled Just Ballet and it says permanently closed!!!!! Have I missed something??

  6. We too, at same school as Cotes’s dd, would love something to happen to stop this from happening to other dancers at any dance school! We too had outside counselling and our DD’s last college was amazing in building her confidence! Sadly after an incident  that happened not related to the college, her confidence plummeted again! We thought that new surroundings would help but the stress of now finding a job is taking over and she’s told us only this week that she’s just not ready for a job abroad! So a job in the uk it will have to be 💗🫰She’s fighting on and is nowhere near ready to let that first school beat her 💗

  7. I must be an exception then 🤣 as Ive never said no to anyone with any learning needs! I have had a profoundly deaf child (now at university) and at the moment I have children with autism, ADHD and other learning difficulties. I never say no to anyone! I’ve even had a child with cerabryl palsy! She tried ballet and modern and was doing really! Because she was in school with some of the other girls she was just accepted! We just adapt!
The mums I have (2 in particular who have 2 children each with different learning needs) can’t thank me enough for taking them because they are not always accepted anywhere else 😢

I haven’t had a Down’s syndrome child yet, but they certainly wouldn’t be turned away 💗

  8. I really don’t know whether to mention this here but here goes!

Went to watch National Dance Company Wales company class a while ago. Now they are NOT a ballet company, BUT their warm up class was ballet based and you could tell all of them had had ballet training!
Also, my dd did an Inspiro course - twice! And she stuck out like a sore thumb for her classical technique! Yes all the others could do all the tricks, and tilts etc but!!!!!!!!

So my advice would be whether your thinking ballet, contemporary, cruise ship or whatever I still say ballet is the foundation for everything! Call me old fashioned but he ho!!!!! 💗
