Well my dd has just finished hammond upper school audition. She thankfully didn't get cut after lunch but my heart goes out to those that did. She loves the school , staff and students were lovely to her ! All the worry about her songs and drama ! but it went well and she's tried her best! So fingers crossed to all wanting a place at this school x

Hi dd travelling up to Glasgow today for her audition with Royal Conservatoire of Scotland tomorrow. Anyone else doing 4th feb? Any info on what to expect tomorrow and any news on offers/ finals would be lovely to hear also !!!! X

Hi lilac my dd has auditioned for nbs recently. She loved it and had a very positive day. She had morning slot think we arrived about just before 9 am, the children were took to change and class and the parents just waited in the cafe in the nbs building for a few hours so take a book ! They come out after ballet and jazz class into the cafe all happy ! Then they were called back by number for physio and interview. My dd said interview was fine , the head was lovely and just questions like why do you like nbs , future goals nothing unpleasant ! Then we got took to theatre watched a performance and had talk with head . Results were about two weeks by letter.x

Yes my understanding is if your cut then you don't get chance to perform your 1 min solo ! But your right at least there is no long wait on results. What will be will be x

Thank you ! Yes she has got hammond early feb and consirvotoir of scotland early feb also. Not sure on numbers to finals sorry x

Hi all just to let you know Manchester upper school audition results are out for royal . We received an email with results. It was a no for my dd but at least the wait is over and she really enjoyed her day . Good luck to everyone x

Thank you 2dancermum. I just hope my dd makes it through the full day at audition !! Must be horrible if not - although I guess if you want to make it in this field you have to become use to the no's . I tell my dd just because it is a no now, it doesn't mean it's a no forever , and different schools look for different things. You can't be everyone's cup of tea !!! X

Hi my dd has a audition early feb for hammond dance sixth form. Would love to hear your experiences of the audition and school. My dd is nervous about the singing and drama part of the day ! She takes drama at school and can hold a tune but does not have singing lessons of any sort ! She is a classical dancer but takes modern and tap lessons also. Thanks in advance x

My dd has received a letter of nbs this morning asking us to refill in dada assessment /form of interest, because of the new changes to funding. The form States april 14 to April 15 total family income . In December when we first filled in forms it was for April 13 -April 14. Makes sense I suppose . Nothing has changed for us ,will still pay the same top up and still no maintenance grant ????. Just wait and see now if dada is offered for dd in April x

Things have pretty much stayed same here for middle earner???? No maintenance grant, fees stayed the same. Just able to work a bit of overtime .... Paying more tax !!!!! But pleased others have been helped by this news x ????

Hi my dd received letter saying no for central finals also. good luck to those still waiting and best wishes to all with no letters. All of you work so hard and have done well just to audition x

Hi my daughter was in the morning audition on the 13th at central also. She really enjoyed the day and said all the girls were to a really high standard. good luck to all waiting on results x
