In fact, all three of the defendants were convicted - not surprising in Zarutsky's case.  Ismene Brown has now posted a fuller version of this morning's events in court, and it would appear that sentences will be delivered later today:

Edit to add:  Just spotted on Twitter info to the effect that Dimitrichenko has been given 6 years; Zarutsky 10 years; and Lipatov 4 years.  No collateral for this yet.

Gosh...just heard that Dimitrichenko has been sentenced to 6 years in prison - saw a clip of him in the court on the ITV News and he looked very gaunt - not healthy at all...

I am just catching up on this thread. A huge thank you to Ismene Brown for all of her wonderful blogging, translation and research of the Russian (and other) press that brought this sorry business to us in such great detail.

 

Justice has been done, but Filin has a life sentence. I wish him well with his continuing struggle.
