Sim
I have just seen on Facebook via Ballet News that Alison McWhinney is leaving ENB to return to Australia as a Senior Soloist with Queensland Ballet at the end of July. Wishing her the best of luck and every happiness. 7
Peanut68
A loss for ENB but an understandable move - I wish her well!
Sophoife
La B making her mark. Good replacement for former principal Mia Heathcote, now just a soloist at AusBallet (two ranks below principal).
Sharon
Really sorry to hear this, she has always been such a pleasure to watch. I wish her well at Queensland and I'm sure that Leanne Benjamin will utilise her wonderful talent more often than ENB. Good luck & Best Wishes Alison.
Bruce Wall
This is a great loss, I fear. McWhinney is a very special talent - especially given her versatility. ENB is a very different company now. I can understand her departure. We all have to live within the boundaries of the time period we are dealt. Edited April 28 by Bruce Wall
