Aurora
The winners get a master class with Michael Berkin of Northern Ballet (previously Birmingham Royal Ballet). There are also 2 memorial awards given out on the day, one of them went to a girl from my dd's school

Bonnie2011
My dd 3 friends got a scholarship. One in the first class and two in the middle class. My dd did not attend this year as she had other commitments. She won one of the scholarships a couple of years ago though.

taxi4ballet
Funny how you find this sort of thing out - never heard of it before. Is it something that the teachers get to know of through the RAD, and some like their pupils to enter and others don't bother or aren't interested? Aurora
Lol pretty much I guess though I think you can register to receive your local newsletter and you would then get info through that. Contact the RAD to ask for your local organisers contact details, they might also be on the RAD's website
