  1. Sansha warm up jumpsuit size medium £5 plus postage
  2. Size small barely worn £5 plus postage
  3. Not really ballet related but I’m so sad to hear that today my daughters Laine graduation day has been cancelled due to COVID restrictions on- going. My heart is so sad for everybody graduating this year and last year - when will this ever end? A few of this years graduates have secured jobs (mainly boys) . A shockingly sad 3 years of training (although she’s loved it despite COVID ) 🥵
  4. I feel it was cancelled last minute last year I may be wrong please anyone advise otherwise - my dd auditioned there 3 years ago and was offered all three course - ballet, jazz or musical theatre but she decided she wanted more triple threat training
  5. Laine Theatre Arts definitely. My dd due to graduate from there this summer and yes Betty Laine loves ballet dancers especially boys ! They get a lot of opportunities x
  6. This beautiful young lady published this amazing book a few years ago now - she danced with my daughter with National Youth Ballet uk and has some amazing recipes and my then 14 year old dancer read the book pictures and recipes are always good especially on Instagram
  7. Ok yes i i didn’t read it properly 😭🤪x
  8. Hi - just wanted to say that probably the oldest anyone auditioning for the Royal Ballet School would be is 16 or 17 at a very push so unlikely you’ll get much response as you are asking for over 18 year olds only - sounds an interesting idea though - good luck !
  9. This is such a lovely post and I am so with you - dd now in her 2nd year at Laine and is loving it and a beautiful time but yes we did do the festival circuit just to get there but we had such happy times and memories every half term or easter holidays. I miss it but she doesn't as she is now in her perfect place x
  10. Hi my daughter is in her 2nd year at Laine and is loving every minute - the audition day is very inspiring and Miss Laine and the other Vice Principal’s do a really lovely parent question talk on the day so would be good if you could go with your daughter - ballet is looked at very carefully but so are all the other genres as they like a good mix of talent - it’s smaller than some of the other MT uk colleges so definitely has a more friendly family feel - try to tell your daughter to enjoy herself and show her love of performing ☘️💕x
  11. Been used but still fine for classes and exams - would like £3.00+ postage which should be about £3.50
  12. This has never been worm size Pettit/Small - would like £25 for it plus £5 postage - I paid £59 from Bloch last year.
  13. Worn a few times but still immaculate £5 + £3.30 postage please
  14. Just adding my lots of love and luck to all moving on - my dd is off to Laine this week - car all packed - feeling bittersweet - will miss her so much but she is ready to go and it's only 90 mins so am guessing she will be coming home a bit and i'll be visitng her, My first leaving home !
  15. So lovely to hear these stories of success. I too am surrounded by boxes and so much stuff - ready to move my dd to Epsom to start at Laine in September + some very gorgeous leotards Sheila Beelam x
  16. My daughter is representing Team England with a ballet solo which she will dance on Friday evening. We fly out on Wednesday for a couple of days of sun and relaxation. I agree the portagese clasisical dancers are amazing. Our dance school has so far won 3 gold medals and a silver for groups and a solo.
  17. RosaMac have pmd you x
  18. I also highly recommend Graham School of Dance. They do up to Adv 2 RAD ballet and Adv 2 ISTD Modern and Tap. My DD is leaving them this year to go to Laine Theatre Arts after 10 amazing years. Check out their facebook page!
  19. It's a bit like buying a house - you have a special feeling and know it's right if that makes any sense at all !
  20. I know of 5 girls who have graduated from Laine in the last 4 years - all strong ballet girls from Dd's local non vocational school. All graduated with jobs and are still working in the industry as dancers. Betty Laine does indeed like her ballet dancers (especially the lads!) Ballet is most definitely considered as a core subject but also lots of jazz/modern/commercial/tap. My dd can't wait to become a Lainey in September.
  21. I don't often post as my dd is not now classical ballet - she is going to Laine in September but so happy reading all these positive places - I echo - keep positive and if your dc want it enough and work they will get there in the end .
