taxi4ballet Posted September 5, 2015 Share Posted September 5, 2015 My dd wore canvas split soles for all her auditions, others auditioning wore a variety of canvas, satin and leather - I just asked dd about soft blocks, and she said only a few people wore them at her auditions, but most of them were vocational and probably wear them all the time, so preferred to dance in them.
