  1. The full segment showing Liam Scarlett rehearsing his new ballet is . Hope there's more to come.
  2. Fiona, I've moved your query into a new topic as it deserves one to itself! You are right on both counts. There doesn't seem to be a built-in print function here. I use a Mac but I assume that Windows is similar in that if you hit Print you will print out the whole sequence of postings. The simplest workaround is to just to drag over the text with your mouse to highlight it, then do Copy, and then Paste the text into whatever word processor or text editor you normally use. From there you can save it or print it. I'm afraid that will have to do for the moment.
  3. Got it! The edited version of yesterday's bonanza will be here: ROH YouTube
  4. Welcome to Fonteyn22, our newest member. (Have there been another 21 incarnations?)
  5. Did anyone make a mental note of how many watchers there were at any one time? I watched on and off via ROH YouTube and as far as I remember there were usually about 3,500. Although the potential coverage would be billions presumably the real figure would be in the thousands.
  6. Thanks Dave (and DanceTabs). How nice to see some photos back on the walls - they brighten up the place no end!

  8. For dance enthusiasts this was a fascinating day. I'd love to know what people who don't normally watch ballet made of it. Was it interesting? Was it comprehensible? Was it inspiring?
  9. Yes that I have had that quite often. The editor does sometimes have a mind of its own.
  10. Never seen this though sometimes there's a delay of a second or two before a message gets posted. On the whole the system seems remarkably sturdy.
  11. Title says it all really. Here's a little piece from EdinburghGuide. Here's the programme.

  13. I've started a new topic in Performances seen for the live event.

  15. Looks as if we've been spared an increase in the cheaper tickets - can't comment on the posh ones! Flickr
  16. There's this tweet from ROH earlier today which suggests that it will be available so you can watch it all night! RoyalOperaHouse If you're overseas and the timing of #RBlive means you can't watch live, never fear - we'll be streaming it in again directly afterwards!
  17. TinEye is very clever, didn't know about it. Thanks. It doesn't return anything on that image.
  18. You may have noticed that the menu bar has been simplified by the removal of various items that we haven't as yet been using (Calendar, Blogs, Pages, Chat). Think of it as Spring Cleaning! Something I've added which may or may not be useful is the Popular Tags panel on the right. If posts are tagged (e.g. Royal Ballet for any RB-related new topics) then clicking the Royal Ballet tag in the panel will bring up a list of all such postings. This is potentially very useful, but obviously only if people use them and that's just one more thing to have to do, albeit in a public-spirited kind of way. I would propose leaving the panel there for a while and encouraging people to use tags and then we can discuss further and see if it's worth retaining - all of these things can be switched on and off.
