Hi Julia, I'd definitely like to buy this DVD please. I may be unable to respond to you this week as I am working 13 hour days away from home. The system wouldn't let me send you a private message, but once I hear from you, I can give you my details. Carol -

Since the central Amphi seat in Row L appears unwanted my friend could use that, & so release SCS D41 at £14. Please contact me via links above, &. Also, please post here. Both of us are there tomorrow to handover ticket. Again, should you know my mobile number, please just text me. Carol

A friend has organised a group booking for the last performance of Werther, this Wednesday, 13th at 7.15pm. One person can no longer attend, hence Amphitheatre central L53 for only £31 rather than £47, about 35% reduction. We are both there on the night to handover the ticket. Please send me a message. It is helpful if you would also post here. Should you already know my mobile number a text will elicit the quickest response. Carol

Does anyone know the nearest or most convenient cinema near Sadler's Wells, which might show the Swan Lake encore this Sunday afternoon, please? I'm considering catching it before the Ann Maguire gala. Oops! Should have investigated first, it appears the Vue, Islington is only a 9 minute walk away.

Hi, I've sent you a message. Carol -
I'm sure that everyone searches for all available grants, however in case it could help anyone with a Welsh connection. http://www.theelizabethevanstrust.co.uk/english/the-trust/ The Elizabeth Evans Trust was formed in 2005 to help fund young people who wish to pursue a professional career in the performing arts – whether as an actor, singer, instrumentalist or within stage management. If you are aged between 16 and 26 years old, can show a close association with Carmarthenshire or Wales and are in need of funding – either for a college course or a short term private project – then you are eligible to apply for this scholarship. The Elizabeth Evans Trust is proud to continue Elizabeth’s work of supporting young peoples’ dreams of a life in theatre and the arts. The Trust is here to provide a complete package of support – so important to achieve a successful professional career.

Radio 3 "In Tune" archive thread

That would have made perfect sense, Dave. I never quite understand why photographers aren't invited to dress rehearsals for other casts; this time particularly as few photographs will exist of Stix-Brunell, although I recall you took an especially fine one during her solo in Ballo della regina. -
(Edit: A home for old posts relating to BBC Radio 3's "In Tune" drivetime programme. Details and iPlayer links will be out of date.) Sorry for short notice, however In Tune is usually on iPlayer for one week. An interview with Christopher Wheeldon, accompanied by Royal Ballet ballerina, Beatriz Stix-Brunell. The programme runs from 4.30pm until 6.30pm.

I really hope Zucchetti does dance Puck on Thursday, his début was superb. I strongly agree that he deserves some larger roles & has been rather wasted this season. -
A Question on Active Use of Daily Links
Carol replied to Ian Macmillan's topic in Archived discussions
Given time, I check these links daily, if not I work backwards. I usually read all those links involving UK based or visiting companies, or their dancers when guesting abroad. Also, choreographers, whose work I know, when they are working abroad eg new Scarlett in Miami, new Wheeldon in NY. The "out of the ordinary" can attract my attention. I appreciate these links immensely, for pointing me to articles I'd miss, & being a huge timesaver. -
Balletco Forum Available Again plus Opportunity to Discuss Future
Carol replied to Bruce's topic in Archived discussions
Just want to thank all the committee members for giving their time & energy. I am willing to help or contribute should volunteers be needed. In response to Lee's request for feedback on areas we regularly use: I particularly appreciate the immediacy of the Forums for the latest news, quick responses to those casts or performances I've been unable to see, the invaluable ticket exchange for both finding those elusive tickets & also selling. I love being able to use Today's Link's to find reviews, hear about new books etc rather than searching wildly. Sadly, I realise finding these links is a time-consuming task. I eagerly await the photos from Rehearsals being posted, thanks Dave. Hope this sort of comment was what you meant. Good luck. Carol
