No, I just know I'll be watching Yuhui interacting with the rest of the cast the way the harlots do. -

It wasn't a one off either, he was the conductor for several performances that I saw/heard and the same thing happened at that point each time- 572 replies

While we wait for someone that went to give a report I will say I was particularly impressed by Marcelino Sambe's Mercutio, specifically his solo during the ball scene...like a whirlwind he was!! The post-ball slaps by Roseline and non-Roseline (Isabel Lubach) weren't loud enough for my liking š but enjoyed their dancing very much. As always I enjoyed watching Ginevra Zambon trying to encourage the fighting and struggled to remain focussed on the main action when the harlots were fighting with people at the side of the stage. I didn't originally plan to see Marianela, I'm so glad I got to see her do this due to a cast change.- 603 replies

That was Joseph Aumeer....it stayed there for a while and then he picked it up near the end of that section. A show or two back a flower from the bunch held by Clara in Act 2 fell out landed on the floor and that was scooped up by William Bracewell. -

I saw William Bracewell sitting at a table in the foyer for the whole of the matinee interval....only saw one gentleman come up and talk to him and the woman he was sat with -

Mr OāHare came out again this afternoon to tell us parts of the scenery were now working after overnight repairs š The tree was still fully grown but the step/ledge at the front of it was fully down so we had a fort (not that I could see it from SCS D8 and the dolls houseā¦and the float thing was back. I may have missed it last night/since the beginning of time but today we had some uplifting lighting effect on the wall behind it for the tree growing section. Great dancing from Sophie Allnatt and Mr Junker as well š -

Changes for Act 2ā¦.angels in a foggy Kingdom of the Sweets instead of the usual foliage and none of the candle relayā¦also the Chinese dancers didnāt enter by the steps but from the sides even though Drosselmeyer did and the angel appeared at the top of them at the end -

I miss the fort more than the sleigh but I assume the full stage width step that couldnāt lower was what stopped the fort and house being moved in, I assume it canāt fit in a more forward position in the wings in time. -

šA TREEmendous Act 1 tonight! š Mr OāHare once again came out to tell us of a cast change, Matthew Ball being the Princeā¦.but also that an hour before curtain up they had a major electrical problem and so some scenery wonāt work but Gary Avis has had a think and the show will go on!ā¦.turns out it wasnāt the old guyās candleholder that was knackered but the tree started the party fully grown! Everything was styled out rather well, they didnāt bother putting the angel on the tree etc and the tree growing section was just padded out with moving aroundā¦.but then there was no fort or dolls house. And though the tree did disappear when it was supposed to a step remained so there was no electric float thing, they walked off at the end as they sometimes do any way -

I think the wig suits Anna Rose very well. the only thing is the mesh underneath it is very noticeable on her forehead in the photos
