  3. Does anyone have any ideas what sort of leotard styles and colours would be preferable for a girl auditioning for a year 7 place at both WL and Elmhurst ? I had chosen a burgandy inter mezzo leotard but her JA teachers isn't too keen . I now have the choice of sky blue or raspberry .

  5. Hi dance momma , I'm sure it won't be too late to apply to Hammond . However don't rule out Moorlands and young dancers academy . My DD is the same age as your DD and also doing week one at WL SS. Looks like we will see you both there . Good luck with it all xx

  7. Any mums and DD's or DS's planning on staying at the Richmond premier inn on the 3rd march prior to the WL final audition ? Thought it might be nice to get together for a bite to eat to put our little dancers at ease and of course squeeze in a glass of wine ( for the mothers of course ???? xx

  14. I've no idea ballet queen , I was hoping that was a possibility , although we did hear two boys got a yes from the Manchester audition today. Doesn't seem to have any order to it.
  15. So glad I found this forum so I can share in the angst , my friends with non dancing DD's zone out after I start waffling about my latest ballet mother worry . Well done to everyone who had ss or waiting list. My DD was on the PWl last year and got a last minute place . She also enjoyed a week at Ybss which we had arranged thinking Ir was a no for WL SS , so she ended up doing two weeks back to back . Today we were delighted to get a yes for this year, but are still nervously awaiting both Elmhurst and WL finals from the Manchester audition. Is anyone else still awaiting news ? Thanks in advance

  17. Any other stressed out ballet mums not heard for white lodge finals from Manchester yet . My DD auditioning for a year 7 place still hasn't heard however some of her other Ja friends have . We did however get a yes for summer school. Feeling rather stressed xxx
