  1. My daughter has applied for JAs and I sent the form off last week. We applied last year and had an email confirmation from them to say they had received her application and that they would be in touch re audition date. This year I haven't had an email confirmation and it says on the application form not to contact them re arrival of forms. It suggests sending guaranteed delivery, which I did. I have tracked it on line with Royal Mail and it says it's been delivered but I wandered if others who have applied have had confirmation emails this year from RBS?
  2. My daughter has just finished performing Swan Lake with EYB. It has been an amazing experience on so many levels. An incredible opportunity for an eight year old which she has thoroughly enjoyed from the start. The EYB team are great and the performance was incredible. An unforgettable summer for us.
  3. I have found the forum of great help as I have no previous knowledge of the dance world. I think it helps to keep things in perspective and to realise that there are lots of lovely opportunities out there for our dancing children.
  4. There don't seem to have been many posts regarding London or eastleigh ja places. I wander how many places were up for grabs for year 4 in London and Eastleigh this year?
  5. Don't despair if you have a no letter. We are a week down the line since we received ours and it does make you take stock and appreciate the achievement they have made by just being put forward for RBS JA's. My dd has EYB to look forward to this summer and the emphasis in our house is definately on enjoyment and keeping it all in perspective.
  6. My daughter got a no letter on Saturday. I thought I ought to write a post to try and redress the balance as reading this forum you could easily get the impression that the yes letters are the norm. To all those out there with a no I can empathise. We had a lovely day out for the audition and I am really pleased that she did it and that she enjoyed it so much. Nothing ventured nothing gained as they say. A positive experience despite the no letter!
