Richardson is extraordinary. I love watching him. He's such as interesting dancer with an incredible range - ugly sister and Gamache to Romeo and now Des Grieux. I hope he gets promoted soon.

Please can someone enlighten me - is the live stream tonight also available as a livestream on the ROH's stream service?

I’m captivated by Viola Pantuso - I first noticed her with the Royal Ballet School some years ago at World Ballet Day. After her performance last night, I hope she gets some meatier roles soon, she’s a gorgeous dancer and would make a glorious Juliet some day.

I haven’t posted on here for years but felt the need to after last night. Mayara Magri is outstanding in everything she does, such strength and truth in her dancing but Calvin Richardson, just WOW. He was extraordinary, I 100% believed in them both from the beginning. He was Romeo, she Juliet and my heart broke. It still is. Last night was one of those performances I’ll always remember. I first noticed him in a World Ballet Day rehearsal of the Sleeping Beauty prologue from 2018, such understated elegance. If the RB powers that be read this, more of him please, I’d love to see him do Manon or Onegin.

Nunez/Soares last night 7/2 - jaw dropping, magnificent - two artists at the peak of their magical powers - I too would dearly love their performance to be filmed. The whole house must have been weeping at their final scene, such was the power of their interpretations. I can barely wait to see Soares do Mayerling again.
