Jan McNulty
From the BRB website: "Birmingham Royal Ballet is lining up alongside a host of other exciting performers at Birmingham's Weekender in September. We'll be bringing world-class ballet to the Bullring with three performances of a beautiful, classic pas de deux from The Nutcracker, one of the Company’s most popular and iconic productions. Our performances will take place at 1pm, 2.15pm and 3pm on Saturday 23 September. During the weekend, the Company will also lead a ballet flashmob, including dancers from local dance schools and the community. If you would like to find out more and take part in the flashmob, please sign up below and we will send you more details as soon as we have them available." Yaffa
Sounds very interesting. I was a bit surprised to see that they announced the location - flashmobs are supposed to be a surprise - but I see they haven't actually given out much info about the place or time.... mimi'smom
BRB shared video of the event and its preparations on their Facebook page. Lovely for us to see familiar faces amongst the teachers, the Elmhurst student participants and even DD's old local dance school!
