Lynette H
Jonathan Goddard is an amazing charismatic presence in this production. It's in the atmospheric setting of Wilton's Music Hall, London's oldest surviving Music Hall, all crumbling walls and peeling paint. One of the most striking and compelling productions I've seen this year. It's on until 2 Nov. Details here http://wiltons.org.uk/event.php?p=642 NB I saw an offer in the Sadlers Random programme for this for £2 off top price tickets, quote "Dracula".
Pas de Quatre
Catch this if you can. I saw it last week at Pavilion Dance in Bournemouth. It is a new purpose built small performance theatre, but with the amazing set and lighting became a true Gothic pile! The dancing was fabulous, very powerful technique and interpretation - not for children though!
alison
Thanks, Lynette. Did you find your way to the venue all right? I was trying to do it on Google Streetview, but it kept cutting out at the vital point! And yes, I really must try and get there, so thanks for the reminder. Lynette H
The directions on the venue web site for how to walk there from Tower Hill (or other tube stations) are quite good. I ended up following a number of people all clutching their A-Zs and checking them at intervals. It was fine.
