Thanks taxi, yes, that will work - or type in Natalia Kremen and choose “search for all words”. I would list the threads for you, @Motomum but there are quite a few!
FlexyNexy Posted August 17, 2020 Posted August 17, 2020 Happy to answer any questions. My DD was her student.

I believe there is a section on the school website regarding the graduates and their placements. Any questions, let me know.
Motomum Posted August 19, 2020 Author Posted August 19, 2020 @FlexyNexywas the training of a high standard in your opinion. would you recommend it as non-residential option to training with a view to upper school applications? the school approached my son and he auditioned for Mrs Kremen during lockdown and has been given a scholarship for their vocational training program. i have lots of questions but you might not want to answer them. 😁 1

She is a very dedicated teacher, as far as I can see.
BallerinaMum13 Posted April 21 Posted April 21 I am reviving this thread in hopes people can share recent experiences. There seems to be quite a bit of info from 10 years ago or so but things changed. I am interested particularly in views of the vocational programme, class size, who teaches those classes, and cost (value for money dare I say, if that exists in Central London).
Sim Posted April 21 Posted April 21 The only thing I can say is that the students from this school seem to do very well and some have ended up in world-class companies. Some of them have participated in some of the big international ballet competitions, often accompanied on their travels by Natalia herself, or another teacher. The duty of care in the school is very good. I taught the ballet history module at their summer school a few years ago and was impressed. I also helped Natalia set up the school in its early stages and I know how passionate she is about having a high standard of teaching to pass on to the next generation. The child of a Royal Ballet principal attends the school. 3
Lena22 Posted April 22 Posted April 22 I saw her students at YAGP 2025, I think they did quite well in precompetetive and junior divisions but don't remember any in seniors ( 15+). I was sitting next to Natalia and heard that her school is primary up to Upper School age and her students got places at UK-based and non-UK based Upper schools.

At that age you may be wanting very different things from the experience compared to later, at the vocational stage. Anyways, everyone we’ve met from NK seem very happy there. Yes, but I was trying to show that if a principal has a child at the school they must think highly of the school as a whole. 4
Pas de Quatre Posted April 23 Posted April 23 (edited) In fact, like mainstream education, the youngest years are all important as that is where a firm foundation in ballet is built! Edited April 23 by Pas de Quatre 2

Yes there are classes on Saturday and Sunday at vocational level although many students are in associate programs on the Saturday. Some do both or some can only do the associates as times clash but NKBS allow them to go it's not an issue.
FlexyNexy Posted April 24 Posted April 24 In our experience, it's well-suited for younger children, particularly those of primary school age. However, for older age groups—especially when training needs to align closely with the level of international competition—there are better options available. Ultimately, I believe in prioritizing quality over quantity. 1
Sim Posted April 24 Posted April 24 Natalia is currently in Florida accompanying three of her students who are participating in the YAGP. 1

It doesn't look that this level is low for 16 yo UK-trained girl Edited April 24 by Lena22 2
