Jan McNulty
The very wonderful comedy actress Dame June Whitfield has passed away at the age of 93. Such sad news, she had seemed invincible. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-46712694?SThisFB
Ian Macmillan
I hope I'm not alone here in being able to remember her from the time both she and Alma Cogan replaced Joy Nichols to join Jimmy Edwards and Dick Bentley on the top Light Programme radio show of the early 50s, "Take it from here," on which The Glums became a favourite weekly feature. A class act over very many years.
richieN
Superb comic actress. I have fond memories of evenings in front of the TV watching "Terry and June". She was great in the "Carry on" films, not to mention "Absolutely Fabulous". She was a class act. Very sad news.
