SBallerina
Hi! I read a looong chat/discussion about hyperextended knees in ballet, what they are, how they affect they dancing and how to strengthen them. I think I remember it continued on to a 2nd chat because of the length. Problem is; I can't find it again.. Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks xx

Jan McNulty
There was this recent thread: http://www.balletcoforum.com/index.php?/topic/11441-knees-and-legs/?hl=knees An older thread: http://www.balletcoforum.com/index.php?/topic/2403-talking-of-knees/?hl=hypermobility#entry28378 I searched separately for knees and then hyper mobility. The subjects seem to have come up in loads of less obvious threads too.
Anna C
If you search for "swaybacks" - the informal name for hyperextended knees - you'll also find more threads: http://www.balletcoforum.com/index.php?/topic/5852-swaybacks/?hl=swaybacks
