HumflyDumfly
My daughter really needs a professional audition video. Can anyone recommend a company or person in the London area?

Circe
I have seen on social media audition photos done by Tim Cross and he seems to also do video, maybe worth a look.
Jan McNulty
Here's a link to Tim's website: http://tmcross.com There is a tab for audition videos. I well remember him as a dancer with BRB (he was a wonderful Mossop in Hobson's Choice) and he is a fabulous photographer.

Tulip
My daughter used him for her audition DVD, both he and his wife were excellent.
HumflyDumfly
Thanks Tulip. I've looked at the website and it seems ideal. Great!
Rizzo
Do you need to send a different dvd to each company you apply for? That would be really expensive! or do companies not specify what they want to see on the dvd, so one recording would do for every application? Tulip
It is one DVD, but not all companies ask for a DVD.
HumflyDumfly
Rizzo - for most applications students are being asked to include a link to their video recording, rather than sending a DVD. . You have a good point regarding differing content. Some companies want to see classwork, others are asking for a variation. Perhaps the recording can be divided into sections...
Rizzo
Thanks Humfly. Early days for us, but worth starting to be aware. Good luck to your DD!
Katymac
DD did this for a few castings, an associates scheme & a summer school I did one video uploaded on Vimeo - but I also split it down so there was a ballet section, a tap section, an MT section & so on My video editing skills are improving but the learning curve has been very steep......for a real job I think I'd have a professional do it But it's been something I've loved doing
