Nana Lily
Elmhurst have a new website. There is more information than on the old site and includes biographies of the staff, which makes good reading on where they trained, performed and taught previously. A nice section on links with BRB sharing which students have performed with the Company over the last two years. News on graduate placements too. Did notice on the audition page there are closing dates for applications for 2013 entry for EACH prelim audition date, can't remember if this was the case in previous years, but for those wanting to audition from September make sure you don't miss those deadlines. Good sections on boarding (Live) and academics (Learn). Here is the link: http://www.elmhurstdance.co.uk/homepage.html NL
KathyG
Have any Elmhurst parents managed to log into the parent section? Won't let me in with the details they sent me.

JulieW
Just been investigating the Parents Area - so much easier to find stuff you're looking for than having to keep old emails!! Shame we're leaving
KathyG
Tried all combinations and several different machines, even my alternate email still won't let me in. Thanks to those who've offered advice.

mimi'smom
It certainly is scary how auditions sneak up on you! When DD started on the PVP in year 4 we thought we had all the time in the world but the time really does fly, before you know it auditions are upon you and audition year itself, for us anyway, was a complete blur! Ian Macmillan
In Links, trog has just posted a link to a Birmingham Post feature on Elmhurst Principal, Jessica Ward, that will be of interest: http://www.birmingha...233-31140270/2/ (It suggests that there is more than one page to the article, but I have failed to get it to move beyond Page 1.)
Nana Lily
Thanks for posting Ian, though I too am unable to find page two on this link. On the school's Facebook page the whole story seems to be there. http://www.birminghampost.net/news/west-midlands-education-news/2012/06/07/egbaston-dance-principal-wants-her-school-on-the-birmingham-map-65233-31128864/ NL
