  1. And in Les Rendezvous too in June as far as I remember.
  2. You could see them together again in The Winter's Tale this month.
  3. What an elocuent overview for those who were not able to attend the performance! And I agree whith you about Fumi's arms and upper body movement, and facial expressions. I found out that all these skills make me be in complete awe every time I watch her.
  4. Indeed. In fact, in Argentina, duelling lasted until 1930.
  5. I completely agree. From a very selfish point of view, since (unluckily) I live overseas and far away from London, I only hope to see Fumi and Bracewell in Romeo and Juliet. I guess it is going to be hard this time to make it happen but it would be once in a lifetime experience for me. Mostly considering that, although both of them are still young, you never know if there will be another chance to see them in a specific role/partnership. I hope Mr. O' Hare or someone from the Royal Ballet hears this wish.Fingers crossed.
  6. Same for me. Knowing that she was such a generous soul and suffered so much makes me feel sad. My condolences to her family and loved ones, especially from this forum.
  7. Same for me. I know that it's not a matter of age, but, for me, just a few mature ballet dancers get to embrace the role of Juliet in a believable way. Mostly when their Romeo is much younger than hers.
  8. First, I really appreciate all the heads-up πŸ˜ƒ Second, for those who know very well ROH's policies I would like to know how far in advance casts are usually announce. Thanks again.
  9. On the topic of cinema relay for the next season, I do crave that if Fumi and William are going to be cast in R&J together again (fingers crossed), their performance is streamed and/or uploaded to the ROH stream service.
  10. I have not seen any Bourne's work in full, just excerpts πŸ€” I found them quite interesting and creative, but I agree with you; he would not be my first/second choice either 🀭
  11. Totally! In fact, that is what I do🀭 I think it is a matter of taste πŸ˜‰
  12. I partly agree with that since last year she published a lot of stuff about her wedding (which had been published by a famous magazine) and private trips with her husband. I guess she received a reward for that (which is very licit).
  13. Maybe I didn't express properly. What I wanted to say that, although he shares some material that has nothing to do with ballet, he does not do it in constantly. It's a matter of meassure for me.
  14. So nice about Vadim. I've done a couple of Fumi's online classes too and I agree about her kindness.
  15. I agree. That's why I said that Fumi is more reserved than William. But what I meant is that, in general terms (and considering their age which could mean that they are more keen on social media) they are quite moderate in their posts. And yes, social media is a tool that can be used in different ways. Sometimes it may help, sometimes not. Marianela talent's is undeniable but her posts have already made me tired. Buy it's my very and unpolite personal opinion 🀭
  16. I also prefer more reserved personalities. That's the reason why, apart from their astistry and charisma, William's and Fumi's instgram accounts are my favourites. In my opinion, they are sensitive and very kind persons but reserve (mostly Fumi) and private as well. I love them for that too.
  17. So am I (although I really enjoyed the performance given by William and Yasmin in their debuts). Same for Mayerling. And I also crave to have a second chance to see them in Romeo and Juliet when the production comes back to the ROH. What I feel when I see them rehearse -just on Youtube or instagram- is something I very rarely experience with any other partnership.
  18. I agree! In fact, I saw Vadim as Florizel in The Winter's Tale and I was hooked by his tender and boyish interpretation. Ultimately, since I've seen him in tons of the very classics I enjoy finding his nuances in more narrative ballets. That's why I think he is so complete as a dancer. On the other hand, due to the fact that I would have to travel to London from far away to get to see a proper Mac Millan ballet -namely Mayerling or R&J- I crave to have the chance to see Fumi and William dancing, at least, one of these ballets. For me, they are like concave and convex figures of the same piece. And yes, the are utterly kinds. They seem to be perfect!
  19. Vadim's acting was a revelation to me since I saw his DG via streaming; I did not know that he was capable to embrace that role so believable (at least for me). And I saw some photos of him as Rudolf in Mayerling that arose my admiration for him. Hence, I think he is the most rounded male dancer in the the company. However, I completely agree about the chemistry Fumi and William show, even throughout pictures. I have never seen sth like that. So, let's hope for a double debut in Mayerling and/or R&J in the next run.
  20. Anyway, I saw Bracewell and Naghdi in their firts performance and I liked them very much (considering that it was a double debut). I think their partership brought a new fresh air to this ballet. Same for Kaneko-Bracewell every time they dance together (I do hope to have the chance to see them in R&J or a debuting in Mayerling).
