  1. What's the PG rating on this production? I don't remember THAT being part of the story..... 😉
  2. The last time I saw it Marci was on as Benno, and to be honest, he could have had a bigger role as he was just amazing!
  3. Appears to be so, hopefully she's not too bad and will be back soon for those with tickets on the 5th.
  4. Yasmine posted on her Insta stories that she'll be performing in an early Swan Lake and wished Marianela a speedy recovery from illness, so perhaps it's illness rather than injury?
  5. No, it was very short and only said she wouldn't be on and is replaced by Yasmine. Fingers crossed.
  6. You would think for opening night they would say something. But we're thinking this is pretty much confirmed, yeah?
  7. Sorry, no idea which one is preferable. I've never done the circle before.
  8. Have you tried going incognito? When a site isn't working for me for no real reason I sometimes do that and it starts working again.
  9. I don't know why, but some nice tickets came up in the stalls circle for the 10th so I snatched those up, hopefully she's back by then, have no idea if it's an injury or COVID positive or something, so I have my fingers crossed for a return from Nela. I've decided that I'll return tomorrow night's tickets. I have some for Marci and Anna, if any comes up for Magri I'm all in!
  10. https://www.roh.org.uk/tickets-and-events/swan-lake-by-liam-scarlett-dates Can still see it from here. I'm using chrome.
  11. Oh no, what's happened? I really wanted to see those two together on opening night. Such a shame. Hope it wasn't overextending doing the two DQ's.
  12. Except you will be, factually and emotionally. The dancers will know that emotionally it's there first performance.
  13. This is very true for me. I was there on the opening night in 2020, seeing Nela and Vadim, it was the last thing I did before lockdown. On the day I wasn't worried at all, I had hand sanitiser, but otherwise didn't really have much to worry about. We were joking in the queue for the loos about washing our hands singing happy birthday and the woman next to me was grabbing my hands in farewell afterwards. Everything was normal. I was planning to go to other performances. Then a couple of days later footage from inside Italian hospitals came out and my family and I decided to stay at home before the official lockdown as we were worried that nothing was being done and I'm vulnerable. I have tickets for opening night again, so think it will be quite an emotional night.
  14. They probably will, all great dancers can always pick up many things from everyone. Nunez has one of the best techniques out there and she always takes direction well, I watched her classes with Erico Montes and she was always after any feedback he'd give her.
  15. Apologies, I haven't been on here. Excuse me??? Are you serious? I was meaning this, in this conversation you're expression was more 'out there' compared to the other posters. As good as the BRB dancers are, and they are, they aren't Nunez and Muntagirov, the fact posters on here are either buying tickets and travelling up there or wanting to shows what these two are. They're two of the most talented dancers in the world.
  16. Yes, it's for those two, I'm really looking forward to it and the whole 'experience'. Good to hear you think so highly of it.
  17. Sometimes stars are stars because of the publicity they get alone, but other times they are just incomparable dancers and are something special and so have become stars because of those things and not due to publicity.
  18. Plus they'll be in rehearsal for Swan Lake and the next week opening it too! Superhuman effort from those two!
  19. I have Cabaret tickets for then otherwise I'd be travelling up there to see them too, a huge coup!
  20. To be honest, your opinion on this is more 'out there' than the previous one. Those two are pretty special in these roles. BRB have amazing dancers, but those two are stars, just look at the gala when they performed the PDD, they got the biggest cheers of the night. People in general are more willing to go to see those two in the roles
