  1. My daughter auditioned in London and we heard 48 hours after her audition.
  2. also, do you think there will be any sort of final / recall for MA. I'll be very surprised if they offer any DC a MA place without seeing them in person, but I may be wrong.
  3. My DD has applied for MA but didn't apply for WL, I'm gutted we didn't think this through properly. I do wonder if she will be at a disadvantage. She wasn't a JA but was on the wait list for Year 6 so I'm hoping she will be on their radar. This waiting and second guessing is so hard!
  4. Last year for Year 6 we had to submit the video by 17th June and results came out 6th July x
  5. I didn't even consider this, I feel like I've put my DD at a massive disadvantage by not ticking WL! I can't see how any DC stand a chance of getting a MA place if they only applied for MA's 😒
  6. Do you think that those who only applied for MA's would be at a big disadvantage?
  7. Well done to all those offered finals, an amazing achievement. Sorry for the not yet - hope your DC are ok. Just wondered if anyone knows what will happen to those that just applied for MA. I'm wondering if my DD will be at a disadvantage as we only applied for MA. For various reasons we decided against applying for full time training. My DD was SWL for Year 6 last year, but nothing came of it. I'm now kicking myself why didn't we just apply for both. Does anyone think MA applicants will get called for associate finals?? Is that even a thing? Will those that go to WL finals be more likely to get offered MA over those that just applied for MA. I really feel like we didn't think this through properly and have put her at a disadvantage.
  8. We haven't had any views yet but didn't submit until 4th January x
  9. I did wonder if they are keeping numbers low due to coronavirus. If things start returning to "normal" in September would they be able to increase class sizes and offer SWL pupils a space - or maybe thats just wishful thinking 😬. There didn't seem to be many pupils that were offered a place on this forum for year 6, but I know that not everyone in the ballet world uses this forum! x
  10. No, my DD is SWL for London and I was wondering the same thing x
  11. Hope you don't me asking but just wondering if you heard anything back from Royal Ballet? x
  12. No I haven't, it would be interesting to know though. There does seem to be a lot on SWL. What centre were you enquiring about? My DD is SWL for London x
  13. Thats amazing, well done to your DD. Gives me hope for my DD who is on SWL for London. I do wonder how much covid is having an affect on places being offered.
  14. SWL for my DD for London - it was a no last year x
