Feel so desperately sad for you and your child. I really question some decisions on assessing out of vocational schools but with no or little feedback as to why. If it’s something that cannot be changed like something physical like feet or turnout etc then why not say? I’d see a specialist dance physio for advice and I’d insist on reasons from school as to why she’d been assessed out. These children give up home friends school to go away and are sometimes treated like something just thrown away. What about their mental wellbeing. Schools have a responsibility. See someone like Emma Northmore for further advice good luck don’t give up and remember she must have been worthy of a place 2 years ago. look after yourself too xx

Yes it does happen we know someone who got an MA place from SWL and we know a little girl who got a summer course place at WL from SWL because someone dropped out last minute through injury

Any idea of the times of the SA classes in Covent Garden on a Saturday please? Also what is the uniform? We will be supplied with all the info we need in due course but I’m just trying to plan ideas for travel to London....... thanks in advance

Is that for a vocational place with Central or Associate places?

Yes I agree. An awful lot can change between now and the start of a new year in September. Associates who have accepted places sometimes give them up if they’re offered a vocational place off a waiting list, some Associates decide not to continue for a number of reasons. We know an MA who originally didn’t get a place, but within a week of being told they were on a short waiting list, had been phoned by RBS offering an MA place. She thinks she took the place of someone who’d accepted a vocational place but after the associate offers were sent out. so don’t give up hope if you’re told you’re DC are on short waiting lists, as places do sometimes materialise 🍀🍀🍀🍀

May for Bath MAs too Generally they don’t assess out MAs but it has been known to happen and sometimes MAs will be given time to improve things.
