Sorry, meant to put 8s and 9s! X

They had 9, and up to yet I've only heard of one being given to a year 7, who, by all accounts, has app turned it down. They all seen to be going to year 9s and 10s :-( x

Can i ask, has anyone actually heard of any year 7s getting the mds at tring? Reading the web site, they are meant to be seen giving them to year 7s to help start them off. Also heard that the ones who have been assessed out of wl have prob been given the funding at tring, could this be right? X

Ive heard that at RBS finals, they have to write an essay about themselves. Do they get the chance to do anything like this at Tring funding audition does anyone know? It would be nice to think they get the chance to put themselves forward, and speak about themselves, be it in writing, or an interview?

My DS auditioned at Tring Park for the Dance course on 15th Oct, and it took roughly around 4 weeks for the letter to come through. He also auditioned for Theatre Arts course on 10th Jan, and we got told by the Principal, it could take more than 4 weeks as they wanted to finish all the auditions first, before they made their decisions. I think with Hammond, everyone that is offered a place, needs to send a cheque off for £60, to enable you to get the funding audition date back. We havent had to do that with RBS or Tring Park. I wonder how many actually get that letter. Sounds like they are on a good thing! Have received an email from them asking why they havent had a reply from us, but still gave us the date and time to attend. So hold out people, dont be too quick to send your cheques off! x

Hi, The JAs in Leeds are held at Yorkshire Dance, its really easy to find, and quite a lot of parking. Straight opposite the market aswell, so got lots to look round while they are in class! The are held on a saturday, yr 6 at 9.20 and years 4/5 at 12.15. Both are 2and a half hours lesson x

He is in year 4 now so presumme it will be year 5. Sorry but still new to all this lol! Still amazed he got thru x

Opened our letter today and my 9 year old son got into Leeds!!! Totally overwhelmed! Been a very emotional day to say the least!
