southerndancemum
DD has started talking about maybe looking at vocational school for her senior years. I've no idea where or when to look at this, with the exception of Tring - for which we are booked in for the open day in May. Any advice greatly appreciated. 2dancersmum
The obvious main four that have the MDS funding are Tring, Hammond, Royal Ballet School and Elmhurst. Tring has strands for musical theatre or dance but the other 3 are dance. There are other schools out there for performing arts as opposed to ballet - but I don't really know anything about them. Have you read through the pinned thread on lower school auditions? I would suggest getting yourself a coffee and putting aside some time to have a good read through that thread and use the search facility to read some of the numerous threads on other lower schools too as there is so much information out there. I think Hammond normally have an open day in May as well as October but not sure about the others.
