Moneypenny
Just wondered if anyone can suggest any insurance brokers or companies with regard to cover for dd participating in a European ballet summer school. I have tried to search previous threads, but I could only find one suggested broker, P J Hayman, so any other suggestions would be helpful. Dd will be travelling from the UK. Thank you. Living the Dream
I bought my DD an annual premium travel insurance from the Post Office online. It has also covered her for her auditions abroad too. Hope this helps. LTD

Anon2
We have an annual European travel insurance (AXA). Both children are covered on it even for individual travel as students. We have checked more than once that it has covered dd for summer schools.

Frogsmum
Any suggestions for brokers/companies who will insure a student travelling to an overseas Summer School unaccompanied? AXA and Post Office and a few others I've tried from the suggestions will not cover dance and/or travel without an adult.
Moneypenny
Sportscover Direct cover ballet, I used them when dd went overseas. Can’t remember what age they have to be to travel unaccompanied though, I think dd was 16 the first time I used them. You would need to ring them to clarify.

meadowblythe
If your child is at vocational school, it may be that the insurance they have for ballet covers abroad, so it is just travel insurance needed.
