Tacey
I have been asked to teach a Swan Lake workshop for my class of Primary kids (KS1) & wondered if anyone knows of any teachers resources I could buy for this - or anyone got ideas!! They are a mixture of boys & girls probably most with no ballet experience!! I don't want the boys to thnk it's too girly!! Thanks
LinMM
Have you been asked to do this because the class is going to see this ballet? Will get back to this later but concentrate on the dramatic bits if they are mostly non dancers. The duel for supremacy between the Prince and Von Rothbart should be great for the boys!! Also the Hunting scenes etc.
LinMM
Just a thought......what kind of workshop....is it general...or Art...or Drama/Dance based?
Anon2
We used to attend school matinees at both ROH and RAH. Both used to email resources to work through before seeing the performance. Try contacting the education departments of both for advice.
Ellie
I had to do the same sort of thing for R&J and Beauty a few years ago. I found lots of resources on the Company websites - especially the US ones. x
