BankruptMum
Came across this article this morning - not sure whether to be really pleased dance is getting an injection of support and encouragement or concerned as the Government dont seem to realise there is already a large pool of talented dancers in desparate need of finance in order to progress into dance careers. http://www.dancesouthwest.org.uk/news-opportunities/news/national-support-for-the-future-of-youth-dance-boosts-ten-year-vision
Pas de Quatre
As I understand it, this is aimed at "Dance" which is usually more contemporary based e.g. as in GCSE & A-level, rather than "Classical Ballet" which is one specialised area. JulieW
How they're not going to make all children do dance - would've been my worst nightmare as a child - PE was bad enough!

JulieW
True - that's why I was so pleased my children liked dance - no standing on the side of a football pitch etc! I did actually like playing hockey :-)
