thank you for clarification. I have misunderstood.  She must have meant debut at Mariinsky then, rather than debut in this role.

Svetlana Zakharova’s show MODANSE is currently on stage in Shanghai and later this month in Beijing.  
 

The dancers include Bolshoi principals and soloists Artemy Belyakov, Denis Savin, Mikhail Lobukhin, Ana Turazashvili, plus contemporary star Ildar Young, in addition to Svetlana herself.

The reciprocal tour of the Mariinsky to the Bolshoi is in progress.  The Mariinsky bring their Petipa version by Alexander Gorsky of DON QUIXOTE:

 

24 and 26 May - Renata Shakirova & Kimin Kim

25 matinee - Nadezhda Batoeva & Philip Stepin

25 evening - Victoria Tereshkinav & Timur Askerov

 

The Bolshoi return to the Mariinsky from 11 June with 3 performances of IVAN THE TERRIBLE (Yuri Grigorovich, Sergei Prokofiev) with Artemy Belyakov, Igor Tsvirko and Egor Geraschenko in the title role.

The Sunday night ballet on Culture channel today, 26 May, is GISELLE from 10 years ago with Diana Vishneva and Sergei Polunin.

Personally it’s not my favourite performance of Giselle, I’m not sure Diana is suited to this role and Sergei is somewhat subdued in it, compared to subsequent acclaimed performances with Zakharova, Osipova and others. 
 

He doesn’t do 32 entrechat six here.  I can’t remember exactly how many, maybe mid20s.  And this is quite common for him … he does a different number each time, maybe depending on how they are going, or how he’s feeling in the moment.
