bridiem
Sad to see that Tom Merrifield has died. I didn't know him as a dancer, but he was a terrific sculptor of dancers: https://www.telegraph.co.uk/obituaries/2021/12/13/tom-merrifield-dancer-starred-west-end-shows-becoming-acclaimed/ 1
Jan McNulty
Sad news indeed. When I first started ballet-watching in the mid-1980s he had been doing some work with London Festival Ballet and IIRC some of his work was on display during one of the company's RFH seasons. His sculptures of dancers were full of movement. RIP Tom Merrifield.
Pas de Quatre
His sculptures are beautiful and have so much movement. Visiting his studio shop in Hampstead was a real pleasure. I am the proud owner of a couple of small bronzes my husband bought for me, one for a significant birthday and its companion for a milestone wedding anniversary.
