AdageKitty Posted April 9, 2020 Posted April 9, 2020 Good morning everyone. This is probably a very trivial question but might anyone know where I can buy the same type of ballet/pointe shoe thread that comes in one those little pink Bloch sewing kits? I know that any type of thread would usually do, but I absolutely love the quality and thickness of the thread that comes in that little magic box! TIA x
Pixiewoo Posted April 9, 2020 Posted April 9, 2020 I haven't used the bloch thread, but I bought a reel/ball of tendu pointe shoe thread on Ebay to darn the tips. X 1
Peanut68 Posted April 10, 2020 Posted April 10, 2020 (edited) Also had the tendu thread.... dance dhops often sell it... a largish ‘ball’ so lasts ages! my DD uses that to sew in ribbons/elastics big prefers wool to darn the outline around platform of box.... I worried this would be sloppy but apparently not.... think just bought a ball of ‘baby pink baby wool’!?Again, lasted ages. Wool in so many colours you’ll find a perfect match for shoes!
