It was announced on Radio 3 about 30 minutes ago that Sir Stephen Cleobury had died last night.  KIng's College Choir has confirmed the news here:

Oh, how sad!  What a great loss to the music world and of course to King’s College.  May Sir Stephen rest in peace, surrounded by beautiful music.

I have just seen a Tweet from Sir Stephen's wife, saying that she had played this anthem to him on the day he died and that "it felt right in every respect for it to be the final piece of music he heard."  Would that we might all pass in peace in such a manner.
