Anna C
Morning all, Does anyone know if Freed or Bloch make canvas full sole ballet shoes? Dd can't wear her soft blocks for Associates and has been told by the physio to wear full-soles if soft blocks aren't feasible. She only likes satins for exams and finds leather a bit bulky, so wonders if there is such a thing as canvas full soles that we could buy in London. Anyone know? Thank you. :-)
Balletmumfor2
My daughter is sure she has had Sansha canvas ballet shoes with full soles in the past. Mind you, like other people have mentioned about their dd's, she can remember long, complicated combinations but can forget something vital like ballet shoes so I wouldn't bet on it, lol!!! Tulip
Why not phone the shops such as Bloch, Sancha etc, they will give you a direct answer or perhaps even tell you who else is selling them. Good luck with your search spannerandpony.
Anna C
Thanks folks. I completely forgot to ask in Freed yesterday - what a donut!
Balletgirlsplease
http://www.dancemania.biz/full-suede-sole-canvas-ballet-shoe.html Don't know what make these are but first thing that came up on a google search. Hope you get some joy finding the ones you want! Would leather not be more supportive (despite your DD not liking the bulkiness?)
Lottie
Have a look at Dancing Boutique. You can always ring them up for advice, if needed. They seem to have a choice of leather, satin and canvas full sole ballet shoes - depending on what your school wants to be worn. DS wore the 'soft canvas full suede' (in white) by Bloch from them when at London Junior & Senior Ballet. They wash well in a normal wash and you can stretch them out when damp with a tea towel or something similar. We found the Freeds Aspire from the RAD shop did not survive long! http://www.dancingboutique.com/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&page=shop.browse&category_id=4&Itemid=4
Anna C
Thank you! Eloise_please, she wants canvas as opposed to leather on the basis that all the others in Associates wear canvas split soles, so although she doesn't mind full soles, she doesn't want to stand out! :-)

Good luck though! X Hi, My DD's also starting RBS JA's next week. Elmhurst in the morning & RBS in the afternoon, which means taking two lots of shoes (canvas full sole for Elmhurst & leather full sole for RBS... Would be a lot easier (& cheaper) if they could wear just the one style!
