Canvas Full-soles

Morning all,

Does anyone know if Freed or Bloch make canvas full sole ballet shoes? Dd can't wear her soft blocks for Associates and has been told by the physio to wear full-soles if soft blocks aren't feasible.

She only likes satins for exams and finds leather a bit bulky, so wonders if there is such a thing as canvas full soles that we could buy in London. Anyone know?

Thank you. :-)

Have a look at Dancing Boutique. You can always ring them up for advice, if needed. They seem to have a choice of leather, satin and canvas full sole ballet shoes - depending on what your school wants to be worn.

DS wore the 'soft canvas full suede' (in white) by Bloch from them when at London Junior & Senior Ballet. They wash well in a normal wash and you can stretch them out when damp with a tea towel or something similar. We found the Freeds Aspire from the RAD shop did not survive long!

Spannerandpony,

I've just had to buy full sole canvas shoes for my DD for her Elmhurst Associate classes (they've changed from split sole to full sole canvas) & I got Bloch one's from Dancing Boutique (who supply Elmhurst). They are here...

They also do the same Bloch one's at Porselli, here...

And Freed one's are available at Dancewear2u (free UK delivery!) here...

Hope these help you :)

No probs! It's funny the difference in the associates as my DD is starting RBS ja's next week and has to have leather full soles.

Good luck though! X

Hi, My DD's also starting RBS JA's next week. Elmhurst in the morning & RBS in the afternoon, which means taking two lots of shoes (canvas full sole for Elmhurst & leather full sole for RBS... Would be a lot easier (& cheaper) if they could wear just the one style! :)

My goodness! That's a busy day!! My DD has musical theatre in the afternoon back at her home dancing school and I though that was mad enough! They'll sleep well on Saturday night won't they!!
