Goldenlily17
Can members offer advice to parents who are supporting pre-professional ballet students recovering from injury? Which schools/advisors are best at rehabilitating students who are in this difficult and frustrating situation?
Lisa O`Brien
I guess it depends on the age of the student and the extent or type of injury.

sarahw
I think someone mentioned in the past that Legat at St Bees did a rehab course? I would think Moorland school would be worth calling - you'd certainly get a personal service there with attention to detail. Neither of the above would be cheap.... Do you have a physio? Do you need to see the specialist NHS dance service in London/Birmingham. (Orthopaedics) Sorry that's some rather random thoughts! Hope you can make progress. Good luck Edited September 20, 2016 by sarahw

Anna C
I was going to suggest the NIDMS NHS Dance Clinics at Stanmore, Birmingham or Bath if you don't have private medical insurance: http://www.nidms.co.uk/bath If you do have insurance, Julian Widdowson is a wonderful consultant and runs a private dance injury clinic in London: http://www.totalsportmedicine.co.uk/ldisclinic/ as well as the NHS one in Bath.
