The death of Pierre Boulez, one of the 20th Century's most significant composer/conductors, occurred yesterday in Germany.  News links are already appearing, including this in the Guardian:

Edit:  I should, of course, have mentioned that the Paris Opera Ballet's pre-Christmas programme (McGregor, Wheeldon, Bausch) was mounted as a tribute to Boulez.  Jann Parry's review for DanceTabs is here, others may be found looking back in Links:
