alison
Did anybody go to see this? I've just realised there's a showing tonight, and would appreciate feedback, especially as to content and running length, because the cinema website is unhelpful! Edit: Okay, located that information, but feedback would still be appreciated. Thanks.

sybarite2015@
He's a nice guy in real life! I taught his daughter for a few years... But never seen one of his operas except bits on YT. Why are operas at the ROH much more expensive than ballet?
alison
Probably because they're even more resource-hungry, and don't employ salaried (in-house) leads, I guess.
