tattielashes Posted November 5, 2015 Posted November 5, 2015 I took my daughter to the audition for this on Tuesday and we were delighted when she got a place. She turned 9 2 weeks ago, its our first time doing anything like this. Looking forward to it! 5
Pups_mum Posted November 5, 2015 Posted November 5, 2015 My DD was in the senior audition. It's her fourth and probably last EYB experience. EYB is lots of fun but quite hard work as the rehearsal schedule is fairly intensive. You can expect your little girl to be tired after the long days but I am sure she will have a wonderful time. The scenery and costumes etc are always lovely and very professional looking and the students get a great deal out of the daily classes as well as the actual production. They usually make lots of new friends too and I can almost guarantee there will be floods of tears and wishes to do it all again once the curtain goes down on the final performance!
Balletmum4ever Posted November 5, 2015 Posted November 5, 2015 Congrats to your DD Tattielashes. My DD (also 9) is midway through the LCB audition process at present and is keen to audition for EYB next year, probably Crawley or Oxford. Interested to hear how you found the audition.
