Advice sought! I wondered if anybody could tell me anything about Xcite dance competitions. My DD goes to what I would refer to as a traditional dance school & we have no experience or knowledge of the competition world expect for what we’ve seen on Dance Moms! She’s been offered the opportunity to participate and I am trying to make an informed decision re whether this will be a fun and positive experience for her.

The RAD repertoire days are brilliant (held at their HQ in Battersea), there should be another one coming up in December (they are usually once a term).

Your clothes are a bit too big for my daughter but I wondered if you might assist with a few questions: - I’ve heard there is a BBA second hand uniform facebook page, do you happen to know the details? - Which bits of the ‘extras’ should I get for my daughter who is joining as a junior associate? Do all the girls have the jacket for example? Thanks so much!

A slight tangent but for those of you who have done ballet boost courses, would you recommend the summer London course for a not quite 8 year old who is fairly mature? Ballet Boost have accepted her but I just wanted to check in on views as to whether it really is suitable given she’ll likely be the youngest. Her ballet teacher recommended it but always nice to hear from those who have actually been! Thanks!
