  1. Dancersdiary on Instagram has made a behind the scenes video of the performance: https://www.instagram.com/reel/C4T4BIrtKpE/?igsh=MTZqa21vYjl3MWN0dQ==
  2. Yes! The czardas in Act I is seared into my brain forever. I couldn't keep my eyes off of him! It is a pity we didn't see more character dancing from him. I am still cross that Hayward and Campbell were the first cast in the 2019 (?) run and yet they were not in the live broadcast. All these posts just remind me how many incredible roles he danced...
  3. Troyte: so brief but the epitome of excellence! It was hard to multi-task!
  4. In my (still teary) reminiscing today I realized I had two other short videos of the curtain calls that I've uploaded as well:
  5. Though I thought his choices of his most famed roles were interesting picks; I would have gone with Albrecht, Oberon, and the Brown Boy!
  6. Pantuso stood out for me as well. Happy I’ll be seeing her in Winter’s Tale
  7. No not pushed at all! Well, not by anyone here but by a friend not on the board who couldn’t go! 😂 it was a beautiful speech and so nice to see all the other principals out as well. Lost it when Vadim came out, and the lovely shout out!
  8. lovely to meet you too! Not sure the lady next to me appreciated the sobbing but oh well!
  9. Not even sure what to say. So very sad but so very privileged to have been able to enjoy such an incredible artist for so many performances.
  10. I have uploaded the speeches on YouTube! Apologize for any sobbing and whooping and shaky camera work!
  11. I’m not wearing any makeup to the performance tonight as I am sure it would be ruined!
  12. To be fair not sure why you would pay so much for a box where you can't see half the stage!
  13. This post has given me a preview of the waterworks I will be experiencing on Friday....
  14. Oh I agree that it's soon. I just have a strong feeling that it's going to happen. They've been pushing him for awhile (not that I'm complaining!) Clarke seems like an exception to me. I remember I hadn't ever really even noticed him until they announced he was replacing Muntagirov in Onegin and promoted him to First Soloist on basically the same day in Jan. 2020. Then all of a sudden he was Osipova's exclusive partner. And then he was principal in 2022, with the pandemic starting in-between! He was dancing pretty much exclusively principal roles but had not been doing it for that long, or in too many full-length ballets.
  15. No issues here either, except one failed payment that set my heart racing!
  16. I very much think he will be promoted at the end of the season.
