    Miami Ballet in Florida takes 10 year olds and it's excellent. The video audition deadline is March 15 and it runs the first week of August. It's by the beach and a fast train ride to Disney World so your daughter may enjoy the adventure. I haven't found many intensives in Europe that take young children. We also applied to Paris Opera Ballet as they take young ones but the deadline is passed. Haven't heard yet on results and there appears to be no forum here for it, so unsure how popular it is.

    Good thing I put a deposit down for a rodeo camp in west Texas during week 3! Guess my son will be riding and roping while everyone else dances, lol. Next year we will try again. I imagine there was a flood of applications this year as last year many had to sit out due to travel restrictions.

    Yes, same here. It reads like you're accepting a place...but you're not. I saw this topic on last year's forum and apparently it's normal and causes confusion every year. What I don't know if what chance anyone has of getting off waitlists for summer.

    Do they release all results at once, or Yes first and then Waitlist and No? My battery is drained by lunch with my constant mail refreshes.

    Does anyone know if the youngest age group for the SI tends to weight mostly UK students? My DS10 applied for week 3 but at that age I wonder if they prefer local candidates versus international.
