  1. thanks, there was mention somewhere that lateral flow tests from schools couldn’t be entered into the app only onto the gov website so I rang 119 to see which lateral flow tests you could enter into the app and they had no idea! Someone had said the school had said the government website one was ok also though but if I can I want to try get one on the app too
  2. Just out of interest does anyone know which types of tests can be entered into the nhs track and trace app that they mentioned on the email? I rang 119 and they didn’t have a clue.
  3. I think it’s to stagger the pick up times so all the parents aren’t gathering at collection?
  4. Thanks 😀 I rang 119 to find out which tests can be put into the app but she wasn’t much help, she didn’t have a clue 🤣
  5. same! But a slightly different departure time. Probably staggering parents picking up. We are also about a 5 hour drive
  6. thats great news 😀 it has been a rollercoaster week
  7. Thank you for this info! Are the ones from healthcare workers the ones you can put into the app? That’s the one we have kindly given by a friend who works at a doctors
  8. its a great forum isn’t it, so good for information and it’s good to realise that everyone else is going through similar concerns! No problem hope yours comes through soon
  9. It basically confirms a negative test is needed lateral flow within 48 hours PCR within 72 hours, home tests are ok aslong as they are ones from school or that have a barcode that can be registered on the nhs test and trace app which is great news as it’s given us all lots more options to get this sorted now 😀 it also said dates to follow shortly
  10. yes that’s true 😀 on another note - Just received a Covid test update email! 😀
  11. 🤣 we shall see! Hoping we get our emails with more info by Friday
  12. I’m wondering if it’s 14 in the morning and 14 in the afternoon if it could be Friday 2 lots of 14, Saturday two lots of 14 then one Sunday afternoon session as it’s harder getting trains to arrive in time as the first train is later. Which would put the number at 70 for the girls -just a theory of course 🤣
  13. Thank you 😀 I know it has been abit of a nightmare 🤣
  14. Thank you 😀 I know it has been abit of a nightmare 🤣
  15. so the fact that they’ve suggested the school does it must mean they are happy with this sort of test? The test that has been given to me is from a healthcare worker so has a barcode on it. But as mentioned above they’ve also said home tests are not accepted so it’s like they aren’t sure completely themselves. As I say I hope they do clarify over the next few days
  16. that’s what I had read also, I really hope they do send us an email with clear confirmation of exactly what they require. So when you self administer with a school test who reports is it the school or yourself?
  17. Thanks so much, I’m back at square one again but at least I’ve still plenty of time to sort
  18. That’s what I originally thought but then someone said they had spoke to them and they were accepting these ones aslong as they were registered online. Are these not the same tests they do in school anyway? What’s the difference if a school does it do they register it instead? I’m wondering if I could take the test I’ve been given by a friend into school to be done if that’s the case
  19. Thank you, yes I think my heads just abit in a muddle with it all
  20. Ah ok thanks, that makes sense. I’m sure someone earlier had confirmed they were fine aslong as you registered and got the text? But it’s just proving to be very confusing!
  21. Glad you got sorted 😀 I’m back panicking again now I’d sorted getting one from a healthcare worker friend (has a barcode so can be registered online) but I’ve now no idea if that is correct. Think I’ll have to ring them tomorrow
