    Yeah it’s hard to imagine how they pick 🤷‍♀️ I just wondered if maybe they’d choose girls for the intensive that they chose for the school to get them prepared. I’m glad you said not because we havnt applied for the intensive, we will do the online one x ps also I thought I had liked so many posts on here and other threads and I’ve only just realised I have to click twice on it! I only realised when i looked at my profile and it said I’d liked one post the whole time I’ve been registered 🤦‍♀️ So anyone that’s ever replied to me I’m sorry! I did think I liked it but was doing it wrong 🤣

    Hi, does anyone know if there’s any correlation between those that get selected for the summer intensive at white lodge and those that get selected for the school? Xx

    Hi @BalletPapa have you found out any information yet? We are going to the audition in person but the email did say that if you don’t go you wouldn’t be taken out of consideration. Maybe they’ll use the video to decide? X

    So I think it’s usually a text message from the NHS, would that be ok to show? I wonder if they are expecting the children to take the test result or if they’ll take it off us outside? X

    Yes it’s a shame we can’t look around the school. Maybe they’ll arrange for the ones they accept into the school to look around with parents later in the summer when everything’s a bit more normal x

    Thats definitely a good thing for your Ds it means he will be less tense! My DD is not shy at all when she gets to know you but can be a bit shy at approaching girls to make friends. Once she’s done it they’ll be besties for life 🤣 but she can be a bit quiet just in certain situations. She’s not shy at all on stage and finds the back stage experience far more daunting than actually being in front of the audience 🤣 a couple of her school teachers have described her as ‘quietly confident’ which I like 😆

    It’s going to be a weird situation for them especially with masks. I’m sure it’ll be the same kind of format as a JA audition. My DDs experience with the JA auditions she’s always been with me so hasn’t mingled and last year it was a video. So it will be a little different for them as we won’t be there. It’s definitely going to be more of a challenge as before they’d have us there to spur them on and send them in with confidence where as now we’ll have no control over it. As soon as they enter the studio we have no control anyway but I think we do big them up a bit before they go in usually 🤣 they’ll have none of that so they all may be a little more nervous unless they’re a super confident person naturally x

    yes you’re right I hadn’t really thought of that. Best not to be left to their own devices to mingle too much anyway as some kids can psyche each other out 😩 happens at festivals I can always tell when it’s happened to my DD as soon as she walks on stage! Best just to focus maybe 🤣

    I’m letting my DD take her phone in case of emergency but I don’t want her zoning out on it so She’s taking a book or crossword puzzle and I’ve told her not to get her phone out in case she needs it! I think they’ll be waiting around a bit so I’m sure there’ll be time for them to say hi to each other ☺️

    I think that the finals it’s every man for himself so to speak and the fact that they’re JAs will probably be on their paperwork for the panel to see but other than that they will be treated exactly the same as every other candidate and would have been thrown into the pack and given dates and times the same way as every child. Xx

    I might have missed something but the time slots seem really random?? Ours is 3.20 to 6-20/6.30 but I’ve seen some slots longer than that 🤔 x

    Elmhurst’s audition dates are so close to royals I guess they’re trying to do it so the results come out at a similar time x

    We have from 3.20 to 6.20-6.30 on the Saturday! Can we work out from what times people have how many groups a day for the girls? I’m assuming ours is the latest slot x

    This is interesting I was wondering whether this might have been the case. Usually in year 6 another class opens up so do you think they may have stuck to the one class in year 6 this year? X
