    Hi, there’s another thread on here, someone asking about what happens if you can’t make the audition, so maybe some information on that, last I read they said they’d be contacted after Easter I think but then everyone that goes to the audition should have heard by then so... 🤷‍♀️

    I think you can always tell musicality by if they’re in time with the music and how they’re dancing. I think the improv tests musicality but not just that as they can see that from the class too. I think it’s to see how well they adapt and if they deal with it well too ! X

    Going back to the personality thing, we have watched a few videos where white lodge students have been interviewed and they do all seem the same ‘type’ of personality. Confident but definitely not overly in your face, a little humble maybe, that came across to me.

    Ah that’s interesting! Yes it needs to come from the right muscle to be considered turnout I think x

    I’m sure the physio is very important, I would think there’s a range that they need to come in for potential turnout and also measurements of limbs etc. But if it was just turnout that mattered surely they’d have had to do the frog and other similar exercises in the audition video. I definitely think it’s potential they look for.

    Thank you! I think I’m going to get my DD to practice pinning paper to her leotard as I know it sounds silly but I have always done it for her! 🤣

    The problem with that is, I didn’t think the parents were going to be able to get that close to anyone to show? Maybe there will be someone waiting outside to check then. I think I’ll have it in my phone ready but also give my DD a copy in case she needs it x

    My DD had a lady and it only lasted a few mins. I thought maybe they might be recording them to watch back later when they’re shortlisting but then I’m sure that they would have had to tell us that in the email 🤔

    My DDs interview was only a few minutes, well under 10 mins, how long did anyone else’s last for? X

    I think we hear separately about mids I could be wrong as everything’s a bit different this year 🤷‍♀️
