Did you get a no/yes/SWL? X

Does anyone know how many are on the SWL for each centre? X

My DD got on SWL for Birmingham xx

Yeah it’s a hard one. Some want acceptance and money before the other results come out. But if the dates don’t clash and it’s ok with money, I would always accept as you don’t want her/him to end up with nothing x

It’s true there was the other years last year but also they were grouped together in classes. With the video auditions they have to assess every one separately so it might take even longer. .... or they might watch the videos together on big screens and compare.. never thought of that before it just popped into my head lol X

No I think it’s only Vimeo where you can see if it’s been viewed. If I’d have known I’d have used Vimeo for sure 🤣

We’ve applied for Birmingham. I wonder if they are assessing them at each site or altogether?

It won’t matter that she hasn’t auditioned before, they’ll look at everyone fresh anyway x

Yes I think if they think the child is what they’re looking for they’ll forward to important bits. If not they may not bother watching anymore. It’s a lot of 40 minute vids to get through if they did watch them all!

Yes I’m hoping mid July 🤞 I would imagine some videos will get watched all the way through but some will reach the cutting room floor quite quickly. They might just skip through to the important bits. X

It’s usually late June when we find out, I know they’ve got loads to get through but I can’t imagine they’ll leave it too long as obv people need to get organised with uniforms and stuff. So my bet is that it will be before end of summer term. 🤞 I did hear that they have two classes in year 6 so potentially lots more spaces if this is still what they do. X

No I didn’t get any acknowledgement which scared me but I think if there’s a problem hopefully they’ll contact you. It took me hours to upload the video to Dropbox! Hopefully we will know before end of term but there’s going to be a lot of videos for them to get through so could be longer. X

Hi, has anybody heard either way yet? I thought it might be this week but I’m thinking now it’ll be Monday. My DD came out in a group of girls earlier than everyone else so we are expecting a no!

Yes she loves elmhurst so all good, I’m sure she’ll try again for royal next year and we will all be back here in the same position lol! Xx good luck to your DD 🤞

Yes I think I remember that happening as I was awaiting results and they didn’t come for a while, but who knows this year hey!
